R.I.P. my beloved Snickers... the kitties don't use their journal anymore, but it's still a nice place for memorializing. Only two of the original five remain.

I heard from a friend today that I haven't talked to in... maybe 2 years. Aside from sending each other Christmas and birthday cards and occasional emails. She emailed me asking me to call her. I should have known something was up then. I was going to wait until I got home but I was too curious so I called her a little while ago

I'm so pissed off about this - I was going to post some "good" things about Aaron's mom's passing (if anything associated with the death of a loved one can be considered good) because Aaron said it really could not have gone any better. She picked her moment, she was surrounded by loved ones, there was so much love in her room it was palpable.

Aaron's mom is still hanging on, sadly. The hospice people gave her family this pamphlet that talks about the steps of death and Aaron says it's all happening... just very slowly. She's all morphined up so hopefully she can't feel a thing. Aaron's still making his stupid jokes and she scrunches up her face like she understands and is groaning at
